Mission Bhagiratha contractor ends life

Mission Bhagiratha contractor Venkateswar Reddy, 40, reportedly committed suicide by consuming poison in a lodge in Varni mandal headquarters late last night. He is survived by wife and a daughter.

According to Sub-Inspector of Police Anjaiah, the contractor was found in an unconscious state by the lodge attendant, who in turn informed the management. Immediately, he was shifted to the Area Hospital, Bodhan, in the 108 ambulance, but was declared brought dead by the doctors.

Belonging to Markapuram of Prakasham district, Venkateswar Reddy committed suicide due to financial burdens. His body was handed over to wife and relatives after post-mortem, said Mr. Anjaiah.
