Medical camp organised

Superintendent of Police S. Chandrashekar Reddy inaugurated a mega health camp at Manala village organised by the district police at the village on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, he expressed happiness at the progress being made in this remote village and its tribal hamlets which once suffered due to the presence of naxal activity.

In the past people were scared to visit area located on the border of Karimnagar district in the forest but peaceful atmosphere prevailed facilitating the administration to speed up economic development, he said. The police department made a survey of remote areas in the district that are not connected with roads and had sent proposals for laying roads at a cost of Rs.100 crore, to the Government.
