Six viral fever cases reported from Ashram School

Six viral fever cases were reported from the Tribal Welfare Ashram School at Kavadigundla in Aswaraopeta mandal on Monday. According to sources, the village witnessed a sudden surge in the incidence of fever cases four days ago. Subsequently, the staff of Medical and Health Department including the malaria control wing conducted a medical camp in the village. A few cases of viral fever and jaundice were detected in the screening camp, sources added. Meanwhile, six students of the Ashram School at Kavadigundla complained of high fever and severe body pains on Monday morning. They were taken to the Primary Health Centre in the mandal headquarters for medical check-up and treatment.
