: A 32-year-old woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband at Pagidipally village of Bhongir mandal on Friday. The deceased was identified as Lakshmi and the accused as Muthaiah.
According to the police, the husband came home late on Friday night in an inebriated condition when the couple had an argument over a petty issue. The irate Muthaiah beat his wife with a belt until she fell unconscious when the neighbours came to her rescue. She was rushed to a hospital where the doctors declared her dead.
