KTR leaves for Dubai

Telangana Minister for Information Technology K.T. Rama Rao left for Dubai on Saturday on a two-day visit to meet investors and entrepreneurs for inviting investments in the State.

He is also expected to meet the local government officials there on repatriating the persons from Telangana languishing in jails for different reasons, particularly after being deceived by employment agents. A delegation comprising Special Chief Secretary (Industries) K. Pradeep Chandra and Managing Director of Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) Jayesh Ranjan has already reached Dubai.

Along with the officials’ delegation, the Minister will study industrial development in Dubai by visiting pharma city, smart city, industrial corridors and estates. He will also meet the industrialists there at a meeting to be convened by the Indian Business Council. He will return to the city on December 15, according to officials.
