Kidnapped child restored to parents

One of the four kidnapped children identified as Thota Pandu (2) was handed over to his parents by the District Child Welfare Committee in the presence of its chairperson K Anitha Reddy here on Thursday. In a statement, she said the details of other three children would be found out soon. She urged the parents who lost their children to approach childline 1098 or child tracking system to know the details of children presently lodged with child welfare committee. Ms Anitha Reddy warned people against adopting children illegally. Those involved in kidnapping and selling children would be punished , she said.
