Joint Collector assumes charge in Karimnagar

Pausami Basu has assumed charge as the Joint Collector of Karimnagar district on Tuesday evening.

The 2007 batch IAS officer had worked as Joint Collector in Warangal district before her posting to the district.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that she would accord top priority for the implementation of government welfare schemes. She said that she would accord priority in the district for the issuance of food security cards, fine rice distribution programme and purchase of three acres of land for the distribution of the same to the dalits.
