Very often, we hear and read about the upper hand behaviour of the army authorities at the AOC gate in the Secunderabad Cantonment area. First of all my question is - Have these army personnel suddenly landed from the moon or are they the leftover fragments of the British Raj? These uniformed personnel are also coming from some civil families, like any other citizen and one day they have to retire and be a civilian. Are they above the laws and the constitution?
They are getting their salaries and facilities, thanks to the entire population. Another question I want to ask is whether Secunderabad is a war-zone? Why do they have to take so many security measures. If they cannot live in peace with civilian friends then how can they fight the enemies? What they are doing is completely unacceptable by blocking roads.

Stagnation of sewage water
Recently, the Hyderabad Water Board dug a manhole between plot no. 36 and 37 covering a distance of 100 feet in Amba Gardens colony under Gudimalkapur limits. There are already two manholes near these plots and when there is no problem with the free flow of drainage water. With the addition of the new pits, drainage water is getting stagnated as there is no proper alignment.
This is causing a lot of inconvenience to the residents. Drain water is flowing freely emanating foul smell and creating conducive atmosphere for mosquitoes and rodents. I request the Municipal authorities to rectify the matter.

“No Helmet No Entry”
The citizens of Hyderabad consider the slogan, “No Helmet No Entry” displayed at the entrance of the RTA office as a joke. Does it mean that one can go anywhere in the city without a helmet but he or she should wear it once they enter the RTA premises. Rather than enforcing the rule within their office limits, the RTA authorities should take up the matter with traffic police and make sure they enforce it.
