Indian Army selections at GITAM

Officials of the Indian Army visited GITAM University Hyderabad campus on Monday and conducted preliminary selection for male engineering students under the Universities Entry Scheme for permanent commission into the Army, in the rank of Lieutenant.

More than 400 pre-final year engineering students from 19 colleges participated in the interview process.

These students are from different branches such as aeronautical engineering, civil engineering, computer science engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and communication engineering, instrumentation engineering, information technology and mechanical engineering.
