The Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) for admission into MBA and MCA will be held on May 22 at 10 a.m., said Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) chairman T. Papi Reddy and convenor M. Om Prakash.

A total of 69,216 candidates have registered so far for the examination, which will be held at 119 centres across Telangana. The result will be declared on June 9.

According to the convenor, there are 758 colleges offering MBA with a total intake of 49,645 seats, while there are 314 colleges offering 4,564 seats. He said the number of candidates appearing for the ICET declines each year as students prefer other courses that ensure jobs and for other reasons as well. Mr. Om Prakash said those willing to apply for the ICET even now may do so by May 18 at the latest, with a fine of Rs. 10,000.

The students are asked to be present one hour before the examination at their respective centres. They should not carry electronic watch or any other gadget.
