Hundreds of people under the aegis of the Organisation of the Rural Poor staged a demonstration at the Collectorate demanding house sites and land for farming here on Monday.
Organisation secretary P. Muttaiah addressing the gathering said the TRS government failed to keep up its promise of giving three acres of land to each of the SC families. Similarly, the Chief Minister has promised to give double bedroom houses to poor which still remained on paper.
Earlier, the members took out a rally from Ekasila Park to the district Collectorate.
