Honour killing accused still on the run

The police are yet to arrest B. Lingamallu, who had hacked his 19-year-old daughter Swapna for marrying a youth from outside their caste at Ganugugonda village of Tungaturthy mandal on Saturday. Inspector K. Parthasarathi said Lingamallu has been on the run since the incident.

“We had constituted a team with senior police officials to trace the accused, but found no clues so far about his whereabouts.”
