The Devidas Rao Memorial Trust in association with Sunshine Hospital, Secunderabad, the Lions Club of Nizamabad Diamond and the Lions Club of Hyderabad Casco organised a mega health camp on the premises of the Gram Panchayat office at Rudrur village in Varni mandal on Thursday.

In memory

The health camp, meant for patients suffering from knee and joint pains, was held in connection with the first death anniversary of Devidas Rao, a former sarpanch. Doctors led by Dr. Naveen from Sunshine Hospital examined over 400 patients and distributed medicines free of cost.

They referred those who had acute joint pains to super-speciality hospitals. Later Mr. Rao’s NRI sons Ashuthosh and Ananth coordinated with the doctors and other agencies such as Junior Chamber International and Jayceerette Wing of JCI, which extended their support in the conduct of medical camp.
