President approves withdrawal of resignation

Justice Nakka Balayogi of Hyderabad High Court, who has resigned nearly a couple of weeks ago, has withdrawn his resignation.

A statement from the Union Ministry of Law and Justice on Friday said that the President had approved the judge's request for withdrawal of the resignation.

Justice Nakka Balayogi will continue as Judge of the Hyderabad High Court for the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the notification said.

In the earlier notification, issued on December 3, the Union Law and Justice Ministry said the judge had tendered his resignation.

The resignation would come into effect from December 15, according to the Ministry notification issued then.

Under normal course Justice Balayogi would have served as judge till January 15, 2019.
