In a shocking incident, a woman killed her husband by slitting his throat and surrendered to the police at Gajwel on Monday.
According to the police, M. Narasimhulu, a constable at Begumpet police station in the district, was married to Bala Lakshmi. The couple have four girl children. For the past few years he has been harassing Bala Lakshmi to allow him for a second marriage to have a male child. Though senior police officials counselled him repeatedly he did not change his attitude.
Unable to bear the harassment she killed him.Gajwel police registered a case and are investigating.
