Govts. not fulfilling promises: CITU

June 15, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:43 am IST - NIZAMABAD:

CITU State vice-president S. Veeraiah said that the Central and the State Governments failed to implement the promises made to people before elections and are indulging in anti-people and anti-worker policies.

Addressing the gathering of CITU activists on the occasion of the inaugural of the newly constructed union district office here on Sunday, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going round the globe instead of concentrating on the problems of people. Like during the Congress-led UPA Government, the prices of all essential commodities are skyrocketing during the NDA rule, breaking the back of the poor and middle classes, he added.

There is no compatibility between K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s promises and what he is doing for their implementation after assuming power, he said.
