TDP MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Friday said they objected to the conduct of the Governor and sought an explanation from him how he administered the oath of office of minister to T Srinivas Yadav when he was elected on the TDP ticket.
“We lost trust in the Governor. His conduct is not acceptable to us as he is not protecting democracy,” Mr Dayakar Rao told newsmen here.
TRS leaders too had found fault with the Governor in the past branding him anti-Telangana. Harish Rao and K. Chandrasekhara Rao had approved inclusion of Section 8 in the bifurcation bill.
The TDP was now asking for implementation of Section 8 and nothing more. The TDP leader said they had evidence that the TRS government had resorted to illegal tapping of phones belonging to Andhra Pradesh Ministers and the Chief Minister.
They had also asked the ACB officials to probe the telephone conversation of all TRS leaders with TDP MLAs during the past six months to know who had lured whom.
