Gonds worried over state of community

The Gond tribal community, spread across six States in Central India, is a worried lot over the state of affairs, as was evident from the concern voiced by speakers at the meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Gondwana Gond Mahasabha held on Wednesday in the backdrop of the famous Nagoba jatara at Keslapur in Indervelli mandal of Adilabad district.

The Raja of the former kingdom of Chandrapur in Maharashtra, Atram Bir Shaw, who is also the national president of the Gondwana Congress party, felt that the Gonds need education to set themselves on the path of development.
