Artistes, movie technicians, poets, writers and members of the Classical Cinema and Cultural Club (CCCC) on Wednesday paid homage to artiste, producer and director of revolutionary pictures, Madala Ranga Rao, who passed away recently. They garlanded his portrait and observed two-minute silence.

Jana Vignana Vedika all-India honorary president P. Ram Mohan Rao, gynecologist Jayani Nehru, journalist Ch. Madhu and CPI (M) leader Ande Narayana Rao spoke on the occasion.Expressing condolences to the bereaved family, the speakers said he impacted society and inspired the youth with his movies built with progressive thought.
