Funds released for Ambedkar Study Circle

Member of Parliament B. Vinod Kumar has said that the State government released Rs. 25.39 lakh as first quarter amount for the opening and functioning of the Ambedkar Study Circle for the benefit of Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe students appearing for various competitive examinations in Karimnagar.

In a press note here on Tuesday, the MP said that he wrote to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for starting Ambedkar Study Circle and allotment of Rs.107.64 lakh for its functioning.

Accordingly, the State government had decided to open five study circles in the State, including Karimnagar during this financial year and released the said amount, he stated.
