Environment day celebrated at BHEL

The Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Ramachandrapuram unit has celebrated World Environment Day on Friday.

In a release here, Executive Director N Ravi Chander said that BHEL believes in the importance of environment conservation and organises various activities supporting this cause.

A green rally was organised from BHEL factory to NH1 park in the township. This was followed by tree plantations at the end of the rally. School children, senior executives, union representatives, employees, trainees and others participated.
