Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao set June 25 as the deadline for cent per cent distribution of Rythu Bandhu cheques and new pattadar passbooks.
Between May 24 and June 25, the official machinery in all districts must focus only on distribution, Mr. Rao told the Collectors’ conference.
He ordered that the freezing of online updation of land records be lifted. The tahsildars will be permitted to enter the land transactions from May 27. “All purchases and sales, land mutations, extending hereditary rights and new entries must be recorded in printed passbooks for distribution,” he informed the Collectors.
The passbooks that have already been distributed but had entry errors must be replaced with new ones. Ownership of every gunta of land must be established. The transactions till June 20 must be updated.
The Dharani website, which would maintain land records, would be designed on the basis of information available till then, the CM said.
Mr. Rao compiled a list of senior IAS officers to supervise distribution of cheques and passbooks in each of the 30 districts. Ministers were placed district in-charges.
