Discontent is brewing in the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in Dubbak constituency with Maddula Nageswara Reddy mobilising his supporters seeking party nomination. On Sunday he held holding a meeting with members of MJB and MNR Trusts at Mirdoddi on Sunday, which was attended by large numbers. “People are my high command and I will abide by their decision. We can do better things if service was added with political power. “A public meeting will be held at Dubbak shortly where our future course of action will be decided,” said Mr. Nageswara Reddy.

However, party district unit president Murali Yadav brushed aside the allegations of discontent in the party over nomination of same candidates. “It needs to be looked other way round. They are in the party for several years and naturally they are aspiring for party nomination. That does not mean they are opposing the party leadership. Instead, they are with the party and expressing their opinions. We will talk with them and settle the matters amicably,” president of the district unit of TRS Murali Yadav said.
