Two farmers end life in Warangal

Two farmers reportedly committed suicide due to crop loss in Warangal.

Chandramouli, 50, of Chagallu village in Station Ghanpur mandal, was said to have suffered losses. He owned 2.5 acres of land and took five more acres on rent but suffered huge losses.

He consumed pesticide at his residence.

The local police registered a case and are investigating.

In another case, a farmer named E. Guruva Reddy, 34, of Narsayyapalli in Maddur mandal, died at Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad on Monday in the early hours.

He was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment after he consumed pesticide at his residence last Thursday following loss of crops in 4.5 acres of land.
