CPI leader passes away

CPI State Council leader and AITUC district president Kalva Narsaiah Yadav had died at his house in Bommakal village on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Saturday night.

Mr. Narsaiah Yadav, who was also president of Telangana State Sheep and Goat Breeders Association, was associated with the CPI since last three decades and worked for the betterment of the living standards of the working class persons, especially hamalis. CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy visited the house of Narsaiah and paid tributes. He also participated in the funeral procession.

Recollecting his association with the party, Mr. Venkat Reddy said that the CPI had lost a dynamic leader, who always strived for the working class persons. Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar, MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao, ZP former chairperson Tula Uma, former legislator K. Satyanarayana Goud, CPM district secretary G. Mukund Reddy, Congress leaders D. Shankar, Marri Venkat Swamy and others visited the bereaved family members to offer their condolences.
