Collector asks Karimnagar dairy to increase sales

Collector Neetu Prasad asked the authorities of Karimnagar Milk Producer Company Limited, also known as Karimnagar dairy, to increase the sale of milk and milk products in Hyderabad city for the benefit of dairy farmers.

She visited the Karimnagar dairy on Thursday and inspected the work there. Dairy chairman Ch. Rajeshwara Rao made a power point presentation on the progress of the dairy. She appreciated them for their steady progress and increase in sales besides lauding their efforts in launching several welfare schemes for milk producers.

Stating that Karimnagar dairy had a good market in Hyderabad, she informed the authorities to intensify the publicity campaign to increase sales in the city. She also promised all assistance from the government for the welfare of the milk producers.

Later, she visited the Frozen Bull Semen Station, the only one in Telangana State, adjoining the dairy premises.
