Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday gave names to barrages and pump houses of Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation Project.
A release of the CMO said the Medigadda barrage will go by the name Laxmi barrage and its pump house at Kannepalli will be called Laxmi pump house.
Similarly, Annaram barrage and its pump house at Siripuram will be Saraswati barrage and Saraswati pump house.
Sundilla barrage and its pump house will be Parvathi barrage and Parvathi pump house. Nandi Medaram reservoir-cum-pump house will go by the name Nandi, and Laxmipuram pump house as Gayatri.
