Utnoor police on Wednesday registered cases against leaders of the Agency SC, ST, BC and Minority Aikya Vedika for organising a public meeting without permission and preventing police from discharge of duties. Naming six of the leaders, the cases were booked under Sections 143 and 186 read with 149 IPC as a result of the rally and public meeting held at Utnoor on Tuesday.
According to the police, the persons named in the FIR are Guggilla Shankar, K. Rajeshwar, Sadige Rajeshwar, K. Ashanna, Abid and Chand.
