Bronze statue of Koneru Nageswara Rao unveiled

Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao on Sunday unveiled a bronze statue of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader and former minister in undivided Andhra Pradesh late Koneru Nageswara Rao at Penagadapa village in Chunchupalli mandal of Kothagudem division.

Earlier, the TDP cadre took out a motorbike rally from Chandrugonda to Penagadapa to mark the second death anniversary of late Koneru Nageswara Rao, one of the founder members of the TDP.

TDP leaders recalled their association with Mr. Nageswara Rao and hailed his contribution to the development of Kothagudem Assembly constituency, which he represented thrice.

TDP Polit Bureau member Nama Nageswara Rao, Telangana State unit president L. Ramana, Sattupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, late Koneru Nageswara Rao's son and the TDP district president K. Satyanarayana and others were present.
