Ten schoolchildren injured in accident

As many as ten schoolchildren were injured, three of them seriously, when an autorickshaw in which they were travelling turned turtle on Tirlapuram-Ramanujavaram road in Manuguru mandal on Monday. Sources said an autorickshaw carrying ten students from Tirlapuram and its surrounding habitations to the government school at Ramanujavaram suddenly turned upside down and fell into a roadside ditch near Tirlapuram in the morning. The autorickshaw driver applied sudden break in an apparent bid to avoid hitting a bullock cart coming from the opposite direction on the outskirts of Tirlapuram.
