BJP likens Rahul Gandhi to cinema actor

Says he reads out from prepared text even to criticise Prime Minister Narendra Modi

The BJP on Saturday likened the Congress leaders, including party vice-president Rahul Gandhi, to cinema actors for reading out from prepared texts at public meetings.

“They have to read out from the prepared text even to criticise Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said the ruling party’s national general secretary P. Muralidhar Rao. Mr. Rao was addressing a public meeting in the district in connection with the awareness campaign on the successful completion of one year of the NDA government under Mr. Modi.
