Over 86,000 candidates would appear for the written examination for the post of managers (engineering) in HMWS&SB being conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on Sunday.
A majority of the 86,519 candidates will take the test in Hyderabad (45,730) followed by 12,758 in Karimnagar and 12,247 in Khammam.
Hall-tickets are available on tspsc.gov.in and candidates would be allowed into the examination centre from 8.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. for the morning session and from 1.15 p.m. to 2.15 p.m. for afternoon session, to enable the candidates to complete the biometric verification and other formalities.
Officials said as this was an OMR-based examination, candidates should use only blue or black point pen to mark the answers. Use of whitener on OMR sheet will lead to disqualification of the answer sheet. After completion of the examination, candidate will be permitted to take the carbonless copy of the OMR answer sheet.
Biometric system is being introduced as a security measure to avoid impersonation. Also, left hand thumb impression of each candidate will be captured at the exam centre along with bar code printed on the hall-ticket in both morning and afternoon sessions. Details can be had on www.tspsc.gov.in .
