Beautified traffic islands ready soon

Plans to open them on Republic Day

The newly redesigned traffic islands at various junctions in Karimnagar town would be beautified with water fountains and greenery and inaugurated on Republic Day, said Mayor S. Ravinder Singh.

The Mayor along with Municipal Commissioner K. Satyanarayana and other officials inspected the beautification of islands at Indira Chowk, Kaman cross roads, Mancherial cross roads in here on Saturday.

Stating that almost 75 % of works were completed at the islands, he said that they would install lights, plant beautiful greenery plants and also inaugurate water fountains at all junctions. He said that they were likely to be inaugurated on January 26.
