All-party meet today

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will hold an all-party meeting on Tuesday to discuss issues related to various projects and proposals in Hyderabad.

The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. in the Secretariat.

The agenda for the meeting includes discussion on the regularisation of government land, encroachments in the urban agglomeration of Hyderabad and providing better housing to those living in slums, measures including bringing in new legislation to prevent land grabbing in urban agglomeration, development of Vinayak Sagar as an alternative place for immersion of Ganesh idols, Durga Mata and Bathukamma and alignment of Hyderabad Metro Rail project, according to senior officials.
