A.K. Khan to head ACB

Several All India Service (AIS) officers who were relieved by the Andhra Pradesh Government gave their joining report to the Chief Secretary of Telangana Rajiv Sharma on Monday.

Several officers had brief one-to-one meetings with the Chief Secretary and a few of them were also learnt to have met Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao . Of the officers, who gave their joining reports, only senior IPS officer Abdul Khayum Khan was given posting as the Director General of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday.

The Chief Minister was stated to be working out in consultation with the Chief Secretary and his Cabinet colleagues to give pick suitable officers for certain key posts before giving postings to all officers who have joined Telangana Government.
