Aid to family of deceased home guard

: Adilabad Superintendent of Police Tarun Joshi, on Thursday handed over a cheque worth Rs. 3.5 lakh to the family members of the late home guard T. Pramod, who died on duty on April 8. Pramod was on duty at the Adilabad Collector’s camp office and died of a heart attack. The money came by way of contribution of a day’s salary by 875 home guards in the district. Mr. Joshi said that the government would offer the job of a home guard to one eligible person from the family of every home guard who died on duty.
