Two farmers commit suicide

Raju, 30, a farmer hailing from Gajagatlapally village in Chinnashnakarampet mandal of Medak district, committed suicide by consuming pesticide at his farm. According to sources, he had one acre of land and dug bore which had failed. He was also in debts. . Meanwhile, a cotton farmer, T. Sammaiah, 22, reportedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide in Dhanwad village of Kataram mandal in Karimnagar district on Tuesday. Reports reaching here said that he cultivated cotton on four acres of land and incurred debts to tune of Rs. 2 lakh.
