GITAM admissions open

GITAM University, Hyderabad, announced that admissions to the B.Tech and M.Tech programmes for the academic year 2017-18 at its Rudraram campus in Sangareddy district was open.

According to N. Siva Prasad, Pro Vice-Chancellor, applications are invited for eight B. Tech (aerospace, civil, CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, IT, and mechanical engineering) and five M.Tech (CAD and manufacturing engineering, computer science and technology, data sciences, power systems, and automation and VLSI design) programmes.

Applications can be downloaded from www.gitam.edu and submitted online or at the admissions office at Rudraram. Applications are available across India at select Union Bank of India, Indian Bank, and Karur Vysya Bank branches.

The last date for submitting the application was March 31. Online tests would will be conducted from April 16 to 30, and the results would be announced on May 5.

There would be a 100% fee waiver for the top 10 rank holders and 50% for those who secure 11 to 100 ranks in GAT-2017. Merit-cum-means scholarships for B.Tech students, teaching assistantship, and scholarship to GATE qualified students for the M.Tech programme would also be available.
