SANGAREDDY: There were more than 2,900 personnel working on machines, but were being treated as casual labour by the MG Automotives, CITU leader B. Ramachander said and demanded that the Assistant Commissioner of Labour inspect the premises immediately.

Speaking to reporters at Zaheerabad on Sunday he said that the Joint Commissioner of Labour had directed the ACL to inspect MG Automotives located at Buchinelli in Zaheerabad mandal and submit a report at the earliest.

Responding to their appeal the Labour Commissioner had directed ACL to form a squad and inspect the establishment. He demanded that the ACL follow the directions immediately to ensure justice be done to the workers who were being denied proper wages by the company.

He alleged that more 2,900 personnel were working on machines in the establishment but they were being treated as casual labour instead of being treated as regular employees.
