ADILABAD: Adilabad Principal Sessions Judge G. Udaya Gowri on Thursday sentenced a couple to life imprisonment and fined each of them Rs. 27,000 for killing their daughter in-law in a case related with demand for dowry. According to the prosecution, Mukkirala Amrutha and Ganganna murdered their daughter in-law by setting her on fire at their house in Morriguda in Kadem mandal on August 13, 2013. They had done so as she failed to bring dowry.
