Citizens urged to save electricity

The Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Mahila Mandal (ABTMM), a socio-religious organisation, appealed to citizens to switch-off the lights in their homes on October 18 to save electricity, and to inculcate the habit among people.

At a press conference here on Thursday, members of ABT here on Thursday released their campaign’s banner, titled ‘Save Electricity - (Virat Amar Ujala).

Anju Jain, a member of ABTMM, said that their campaign will be conducted nationwide on October 18, and that MLAs, corporators, police personnel, actors and other people have also consented to be a part of their programme.
