Even trivial mistakes sometimes may result in serious loss and hence be cautious in discharging duties, Central Reserve Police Force Additional Director General Madan Singh Raghava advised his personnel on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering after a farewell parade by CRPF men comprising six contingents at the colourfully decorated CRPF Group Centre at Jawaharnagar held on his superannuation, Mr. Raghava hoped no CRPF ‘jawan’ would lose life in his future operations. Unlike military forces focussing all their energies on enemies, CRPF men sometimes have to control troublesome situations fighting their fellow country men. And that’s why they should be all the more careful, he remarked.
Thanking his subordinates for organising the farewell parade, Mr. Raghava said he was satisfied having served the CRPF for 39 years. “Even after the retirement, I would continue to watch you grow and feel happy on your accomplishments,” he said amidst a loud round of applause.
Mr. Raghava, who hails from Rajasthan, joined the CRPF as Deputy Superintendent of Police in 1975. Many of his retired batch-mates living in different parts of the country attended the programme.
