Film actor and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna on Friday afternoon sustained a minor injury while shooting for an as-yet-untitled film on the Outer Ring Road leading to Vijayawada. He was rushed to a corporate hospital nearby, where he was given three stitches. He went home soon after and is expected to start shooting again after two days.

The film produced by Rudrapati Ramana Rao is directed by debutant Satyadev and has Mr. Balakrishna opposite Trisha for the first time. The stunt sequence involving a motorcycle chase, choreographed by Ram-Laxman had the actor riding a Bullet when a rope got cut and hit him. He fell on the road and sustained a slight, bleeding injury on his left leg.
