ADILABAD: Adilabad First Additional Sessions Judge Sunitha Kunchala on Wednesday sentenced 37-year-old Md. Saleem, a resident of Ichampet in Tandur mandal to 8 years imprisonment for kidnapping and raping a minor. The crime had taken place at Tandur on December 5, 2013. According to the prosecution, the accused had kidnapped the victim while she was going to her relatives' place and took her to a secluded place and raped her. The Judge also fined him Rs. 12,000.
