“I wish to become a Chartered Accountant,” says S. Krishnaleela, the State topper in History, here on Thursday.

S. Krishnaleela, a student of St. Joseph’s Convent Higher Secondary School in Nagercoil, scored the highest mark in History in the State. Her total score was 1168. She scored full marks in History, Commerce and Accountancy, and 193 in Tamil, 198 in Economics and 177 in English.

Ms. Krishnaleela said her distant relative, who was pursuing Chartered Accountancy course after finishing undergraduate degree in Commerce, motivated her.

She had scored 482 out of 500 in the SSLC examinations in the same school.

She wants to do a UG degree in Commerce to realise her goal. Both her father, who is self-employed, and her mother, a homemaker, have completed Plus Two.
