The Vellore Institute of Development Studies (VIDS) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Bureau of Indian Distance Learning (BIDL), partner of Asia e University, Malaysia, to conduct one-year online Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme.
According to a release from P. Jegadish Gandhi, director of VIDS, the EMBA programme is meant only for working professionals in the IT, banking and business, and managers of industries and healthcare sectors across the globe. Enrolment of researchers for a three-year part-time Ph.D. programme in business administration is also available. The Asia e University headquartered in Malaysia has been established by Asia Cooperation Dialogue Agreement of 33 Asian countries, including India, and is approved by The Association of Commonwealth Universities.
