After much haggling over a financial dispute, Kamal Haasan-starrer Uttama Villain is set to hit the silver screens on Saturday, bringing relief to the actor’s avid fans.
“All issues sorted out... ‘Uttama Villain’ releasing today all over... Thanks to all who supported for the film to get released,” Haasan’s publicist Nikkil Murugan posted on microblogging site Twitter.
The film is expected to hit the screens at 11 a.m., industry sources said.
Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain release was earlier delayed further, as morning shows across Tamil Nadu were cancelled on Saturday. The early morning, noon and afternoon shows of the film on Friday were also cancelled. A few fans were even given tickets to another movie.

Kamal and controversies
Uttama Villain is not the first film to be embroiled in problems. Controversy courts Kamal Haasan almost every time he makes a film.
'Trouble, controversies always follow me' “I feel I’m always targeted. It has happened in the past too," the Ulaga Nayagan said.
