The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Nitin Gadkari, will deliver the convocation address at the 34th Annual Convocation of the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore to be held at the college campus on September 28.
VIT Chancellor G. Viswanathan will preside over the convocation and distribute the degree certificates to 6768 candidates including 247 who have completed their Ph.D.
Mr. Gadkari will distribute the gold medals and degree certificates to 53 candidates.
Vishwas Deep, Global Talent Acquisition Head, Wipro Limited will be the guest of honour at the function.
Mr. Gadkari will also participate in an event organised by the Coir Board on Saturday and lay the foundation stone for 15 Coir Clusters.
