Training programme

The State-level summer art and cultural programme will conclude at Kolli Hills here on Sunday.

Organised by the Tamil Nadu Jawahar Siruvar Mandram under the Department of Art and Culture, the aim of the programme is to inculcate artistic talent and aesthetic fervour in the minds of children in the age group of five to 15 years.

The children were trained in yoga, Bharatanatyam, classical vocal and painting. R. Gunasekaran, Deputy Director of Department of Arts and Culture, will take part. District Collector V. Dakshinamoorthy would be the chief guest and will handover certificates to the participants at Dharma Vidyalaya Matriculation School in Poonthottam in Kolli Hills.
