Toppers of higher secondary examinations in Virudhunagar district will be felicitated at a function to be organised by the Department of School Education in association with PSR Engineering College and Junior Chamber of Sivakasi Dynamic at Sivakasi on May 23.
The first three toppers in schools and at the district level will be presented with Young Achiever 2015 Awards at the function to be held at PSR Engineering College. M. Chockalingam, Judicial Member, National Green Tribunal, Southern Zone, will distribute the awards in the presence of Department of School Education officials, according to a press release.
Young Achiever Award and cash award will be presented to toppers and heads of institutions that registered cent per cent result, according to V. Jeyakumar, Chief Educational Officer.
Transport facility and food have been arranged for all the students and their parents.
